Perfection and permanence...
Everything within me wants the world to be perfect.
I want justice for all the bullying powers in the world.
I want freedom for all.
Redemption.
Liberation.
But nothing will be perfect on this earth. Not until “all things are made new” that we read about in Isaiah 65:17.
And on top of this, I want things permanent.
It seems that EVERY good thing is fleeting.
Temporary.
